The IE Foundation

The Impact Engine (“IE”) Foundation and the J Fund were established by the founders of Impact Engine in 2011 as a way for the company to support high caliber digital journalism and online media within Local.

The Foundation has already partnered with select industry associations, journalism schools and other media companies to fund research and in-market industry projects aimed at solving key industry issues.

The IE Foundation actively works with its partners to integrate funded projects and initiatives into the industry by providing access to technology and resources from Impact Engine and its partners.

The IE Foundation is currently not accepting unsolicited grant applications. If, however, you are an existing Impact Engine client or represent the digital journalism program within an accredited University School of Journalism or an industry association within Local, we would welcome a conversation with you.
