Impact Engine Releases New "Responsive" Rich Media Ad Suite!
Impact Engine has released a full suite of "responsive" rich media ad units, designed to meet the needs of the growing legion of local media publishers that are transitioning their websites to "responsive" layouts.
Beginning on April 21, Google updated its search algorithm to use "mobile-friendliness" as a ranking signal in search results, rewarding websites that are fully optimized for mobile platforms (i.e. - responsive layouts). This caused a huge shift in momentum away from creating individual desktop, tablet & mobile version of websites and towards "responsive" designs where one site automatically adjusts the visual layout based on the screen size.
"In just the first month since their release, Impact Engine has already seen a sizable shift in usage towards these responsive ad units that automatically adjust height, width and functionality based on the size of the screen or device on which they are being viewed," said Bryan Depew, Impact Engine's VP of Product Development.
